I grew up in a small town just down the road from Eau Claire, and I have always appreciated how people in this community are always coming together to give back to those in need. My wife and I have attended a number of fundraisers and events throughout the years, so I was honored to be asked to help make Voice of the Future a success! The work that they do at the Boys and Girls Club is pretty incredible, so I’m just excited to be able to help in any small part. I might not be able to sing, but anyone who knows me would agree that I sure do love to talk!
John hosts Murph in the Morning on Greatest Hits 98.1 and is the promotion coordinator for Mid-West Family Eau Claire and Host/Producer of the 715 Newsmakers show heard Sunday mornings on 5 of Mid West Family’s 6 Eau Claire stations. Originally from Red Wing, Minnesota, John has spent the past 40 years in the Chippewa Valley working with WAYY, WAXX and GREATEST HITS 98.1 in a variety of roles. He is a past winner of Marconi Small Market Personality of the Year and Country Music Association Small Market Personality of the Year awards.
